But the fundraiser at Elmbridge Fishery, Droitwich, which also included a raffle, raised a whopping £1,891.35 for Acorns children's hospice.
Organiser Simon Wilkes, Olly's dad, said: "It went really well. I just can't believe how much money a fishing contest has raised. Not everyone caught fish, but all had a great day - yet again in Olly’s memory.
"It was such a shame that quite a few had to drop out through having to isolate or actually having Covid. We would just like to thank everyone who made this another special event in Olly's memory."
The contest was won by Josh Potter for the second time, with Josh Hill taking second place and Mark Potter - third.
