The shop, which is the tackle giant’s first Midlands-based store, will cater for all types of fishing, including carp, coarse and match, and will stock thousands of items of tackle, from the smallest accessories to top-of-the-range poles – including all the top brand names and Angling Direct’s very own ADvanta product range.
There will be a permanent display of bivvies, luggage, seatboxes, poles and rods set up for customers to try, plus plenty of advice from the experienced team of local staff. Fresh bait, including top-quality maggots and casters, will be available and with a freezer full of fresh-frozen boilies, why not pop along to check out this brand-new local angling store?
Shop manager Simon West commented: “Many Midlands anglers will already be aware of Angling Direct through their website and tackle insurance claims, but will never have had the opportunity to visit an Angling Direct tackle shop before, so it’s now time to come and see what all the fuss is about.
“It is a very exciting venture for me and my fellow staff members, and the company itself, so please pop in and have a look through the store, while we put the kettle on and catch up!”

The store is situated on the edge of town and is just over a mile from Junction 3 of the M5. Customer parking is available.
