It starts this weekend (October 11th) at 8pm on BBC2 and runs for six shows. It’s the first time the BBC has been so heavily involved in fishing since A Passion For Angling was made in the early 1990s.
“The show is a chance for the general public to understand what makes anglers tick. It’s not A Passion For Angling – it couldn’t be further from what Chris, Bob and Hugh achieved with that show,” said Matt.
“This project is about fabulous locations, relationships and how people cope with challenges and pressures. Over six episodes, filmed in four continents, eight amateur anglers will eventually be whittled down to an overall winner.”
