exploring lakes and riverbanks all over the UK as they seek to do battle with some of our favourite fish, with each episode focussed on a different species. They also embark on their first trip overseas with a visit to the wild windswept shores of Lough Corrib in the west of Ireland to fish for trout and bream.
Bob reckons the new series contains some of the most picturesque scenery yet, which says a lot given some of the shots that’ve already graced our screens.
“It’s probably the prettiest, and most breath-taking series yet in terms of the places that we visit, and we also get to stay in the most ‘interesting’ accommodation to date,” Bob said.
Paul echoed that sentiment, adding: “Everywhere we go, we seem to be greeted with beautiful weather, showcasing the British countryside at its very best.”
