Detectives are appealing for witnesses after the horrifying incident on Monday, October 2 at around 9.27am.
Police described the suspect as white, in his early 20s, with short blond hair, wearing jeans and a green parka coat.
Detective Constable Thomas Quinlan from Warwickshire Police said: “This was a frightening incident for the victim and it is fortunate that they were not injured. I understand that the local community will be concerned and I would like to reassure them that a thorough investigation is underway. I would urge anyone who witnessed anything suspicious to come forward as soon as possible.”
Earlswood is run by the Canal & Rivers Trust and has three popular lakes offering good carp, bream and pike sport.
