Titford Canal

The Titford Canal is a short canal linking the Old Birmingham Mainline Canal to Langley, leaving the Old Mainline at Oldbury Locks Junction the canal reached the A4123 near M5 Junction 2 where it opens up into a large pool known as Titford Pool. There are 6 locks along this canal and a junction with the now disused Tat Bank Branch Canal. Once you reach Titford pool there was once two more canals here, the Portway Branch which would have gone off to the right at the start of the pools and the Causeway Green Branch which would have continued ahead at the Pool
