The Dudley No.2 Canal
The Dudley No 2 canal runs from the Dudley No 1 canal at Parkhead Junction (Peartree Lane, Dudley) around to Halesowen where it terminates at Hawne Basin near Mucklow Hill. This is where the once Lapal Canal once continued which parts are still visible through Leasowes Park.
The Dudley No 1 Canal from Parkhead Junction runs alongside Narrowboat Way and then around the edge of Lodge farm Reservoir. The canal runs around the South of Netherton and soon arrives at Bumble Hole Nature Reserve where it meets the Bumble Hole Branch Canal and a couple of meters along meets with The Netherton Tunnel Branch Canal at Windmill End Junction.
The canal runs through the outskirts of Rowley Regis and Old Hill and then enters the Gorsty Hill Tunnel, which has no towpath, a fairly short tunnel, once out the tunnel the canal continues a short way before it terminates at Hawne Basins near manor Way, Halesowen.
