STOURBRIDGE CANAL

The Stourbridge Canal is a fairly short Canal linking the Dudley canal to the Staffordshire and Worcester Canal. The canal begins or ends at Stourton Junction on the Staffordshire and Worcester Canal, It runs up to Wordsley where the Stourbridge Town Arm joins the canal, linking it to Stourbridge Town Centre. The canal then continues up a series of locks passing the Stourbridge Red House Glass Cone and up to Leys Junction where the Canal meets with the Fens Branch, this short Canal links the Stourbridge to the Fens Pools, Pensnett. The canal continues to the Delph, where it continues as the Dudley No 1 Canal just beyond the bottom of the Delph Locks known locally as the Nine Locks.
