Victoria Park Pool, Tipton
This pool is currently fished all the year round with no close season.
Although the pool was not restocked, anglers continue to catch the occasional fish.
Anglers who fish the pool, mainly concentrate on the areas from the site of the old play area to a point going to the right to the second island. The path is sited at the waters edge and is quite narrow in places which present problems if anglers occupy the whole of the path.

Dartmouth Park Pools, West Bromwich
Angling takes place on both the large pool and the Duck pond. The pools are fished all the year round with no close season.

Swan Pool, Sandwell Valley
Some fishing platforms are in place with established marginal planting between. Night fishing and vandalism by a few individuals can be a problem during the summer because of the site not being secured nor staffing possible.
Annual Angling Permits are issued from Sandwell Park Farm for Swan Pool and Dartmouth Park Pools

Hyde’s Road Pool, Wednesbury
Until 1987 the pool was fished by a small number of local anglers. Following extreme water loss which was attributed to the open cast coal mining at the former Patent Shaft in Wednesbury, fish were removed and never restocked and anglers did not visit the pool until September last year when fish appeared and were being caught once more.
The site was monitored during September and November 2002 to assess the number of anglers fishing and where they were fishing. There were 6 to 10 places that fishing occurred, towards the College end of the pool and there were less than six anglers at any one time, during the monitoring and they were catching various species of fish.

Sheepwash Nature Reserve, Tipton
John’s Lane (Denbigh) Pool is a designated fishing pool and is well stocked with mixed coarse fish. Since 1994 three angling clubs have signed up to the Licence to Fish Agreement, unfortunately the pool is currently unregulated with no agreement in place.
