Tactics:
Barbel mainly fall to legering tactics here. Halibut pellet, meat, boilie, or plain and simple maggot or caster take their fair share of fish. Chub, roach, dace and odd barbel to waggler fished caster or maggot. Superb roach sport to stick float with hemp and tare in autumn or maggot and caster in winter. In winter try for pike in one of the many slacks on float or legered sea deadbaits. |
