Bottom Pool
The bottom pool has 46 pegs and is located the closest to one of the car parks, it is the bigger of the two pools and contains carp, tench, bream, golden orf, rudd, roach, perch, gudgeon, and skimmers. The best match record to date is 86lb 7oz but several pleasure catches are over 100lb. The preferred pegs are 38,22,29 and 18. The pool was opened in 1996 it has parking right next to the pool and is best for pole fishing with plenty of room for long poles all round the pool. Carp up to 24lb. |
Top Pool
The top pool has 33 pegs and is close to the car park. The fish in this pool come up to 6lb but the usual weight is 2 to 4lb , there is a variety of carp, tench, bream, rudd, roach, perch, gudgeon and skimmers mostly carp.The fish feed fast best in the summer and good for the youngsters but can be a good challenge for the most experienced angler. The pool opened may 2006 .The best match weight on this pool at present is 45lb. The favoured pegs are 5, 21, 30, and 8. |

Rules:
Barbless hooks only.
All nets to be dipped in disinfectant and rinsed. All keep nets to be emptied at 4 o’clock. No keep nets after 4 o’clock. No hooks larger than size 10. No floating baits. No braided fishing line. Landing net to be used at all times. Fishing is only allowed from the designated fishing pegs. Alcohol strictly in moderation only. Dogs are only allowed with prior permission. No BBQs allowed. |
All children aged 14 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
All litter and unused bait must be taken home with you. Abusive behaviour and swearing will NOT be tolerated. Do not wrap fish in towels. You must produce a valid, in-date fishing license if requested. Anybody found fishing without a fishing license can be fined up to £2,500. M5 exit jct 4, follow signs to Stourbridge, take right hand turn to Halesowen (money lane),turn right at Manchester inn into Dayhouse farm fishery is over the brow of hill on left hand side.
