Description:

These two Telford AA - controled pools offer easy access with platforms for disabled and able-bodied anglers. Tree shrouded, Dandy and Castle Pools, although different levels, are connected. They are similarly stocked with carp to 20 lb-plus, tench to 5lb, crucian carp to 2Ib, roach, perch and gudgeon.

Tactics:

These are ideal waters to take your first steps into carp fishing. There are some good fish to be caught, they, tend to show to all the traditional carp tactics such as legered, hair-rigged boilies, pellets or corn; keep feed to a minimum. Tench to float fished caster, corn or maggot. Mixed catches to maggot in the winter or soft pellet in the warmer weather.

Good Swims:

The narrow neck produces well on Dandy, as does the point on Castle Pool.
