Description:

Dug out in 1990 and owned in its entirety by Birmingham AA this four acre lake has depths to 8ft, and is perfectly described as a pleasure and specimen carp venues.

Stocks are hugely impressive with carp 30 lb, bream to 6 lb, perch to 4 lb, roach to 3 lb plus a few tench.

There are a good 50 swims to search out at this mixed fishery.

Tactics:

Leger boilies for the bigger carp. Excellent pleasure fishing catches to pole fished caster, maggot or soft pellet, the roach are cracking fish. Add some chopped worm to your feed, and fish a small feeder or the pole and you may get amongst the bream. Although lobworm has produced most of the big perch it may well be worth trying prawns too.

Good Swims:

The island area is a draw for the bigger carp.
