Description:

This is an excellent Telford AA venue available on a members or day ticket. The five-acre venue has 44 well-spaced pegs, some suitable for disabled. It's a mixed fishery with a strong emphasis on carp that are getting ever closer to the 20lb mark. Also present are tench to 6lb, perch to 2lb, a decent amount of roach and just the occasional rudd.

Tactics:

This is an exceptional 'runs' water where the carp are of a very high average size. They fall to legered hair-rigged boilies, pellets, corn or meat. Although the margins are very shallow odd carp do show there, particularly early morning and evening. Please note there is no surface fishing allowed whatsoever. Tench will take carp baits, especially corn.
Roach are seldom fish for but an absolute stunner of 3lb 15oz was reported with pellet being the successful bait.
